It is an unfortunate thing that I have come to expect less from businesses today so when I had the opportunity to work with Captain Steve Miller I was almost giddy with gratitude! I got it into my head to purchase a boat as a retirement gift for my husband but, besides budget and a general idea of the type of boat I wanted to get him, I knew nothing. A friend put me in touch with Steve (I didn't even know there was such a thing as a boat broker); I told him what my idea was and gave him my budget. I also told him I knew very little else except for the budget and general type of boat. This was huge for me since it required me to trust someone I didn't know with a substantial purchase. Steve was (and is) a blessing from the start! He found the boat, talked me through the process in a way that was informative without being patronizing. After the offer was presented, negotiated, and accepted, he continued to talk me through everything and stayed in constant communication. He was with me at the sea trial...took me to the place I would have design and put on the name...escorted me to West Marine to make sure I got the right cover and then took the cover with him to make sure it was put on...arranged for the lettering (requiring a little push on his part) to be done...took the boat to his house and detailed it for me...was there for a friend who picked it up for me...then rescued the same friend when his truck broke down in route to where I would present the boat. In the world of boating I was a small fry; purchasing a 19' Carolina Skiff, but he treated me as if I was purchasing a million dollar yacht! I have told endless people about the world class experience and customer service I recieved from Captain Steve and Crystal Coast Boats. He has almost single handedly restored my hope in a work ethic that puts the customer first!

I was a 2 boat owner when I met Steve. I was referred to him by a
mutual friend and Steve went out of his way to help me. He met with me
on a Sunday morning and even postponed a golf outing with his wife to
help me. I listed my boats with him at one of the worst possible times
in relation to the economy and didn't expect much to be honest. Steve
worked as hard as he could and showed my boats on many occasions. He
was very quick to separate the ones "kicking tires" from the serious
inquiries. My job requires a lot of International travel thus Steve had
to communicate with me via email and with time differences he was up
late some nights helping me and keeping me informed. He has sold both
of my boats and I feel represented them fairly and I walked away
extremely satisfied. If you want to sell a boat, my advice is to
contact Steve and get out of the way.
